My name is Teri Wilson and I am a fitness expert turn website developer. Through my learning curve of developing websites, I have learnt that pictures or images pay a inportant part to websites Search Engine Optimisation. This is how I started Cheap Stock Photos.
How Cheap Stock Photos started
One of the first websites I built had pictures, inwhich I just Googled through Google images, took a screen shot – then modifed them slightly then posted it on my website. I did this because a cheap online course I bought said it was the easiest and fastest way to get images for your website. Well as you know pictures have copy right and before you know it I had warning emails regarding the images coming through and had to get rid of those images quick smart.
I then started taking my own images for my training website, which went pretty good. Even though I have done a photography class in the pass, it did take a bit of time because I was always picky on the images I would use. The time it would take to create different levels of clarity and the “perfect shot” really robbed you of your time and sometimes it felt like all I was doing was taking pictures instead of actually making websites.
I then learnt, that there were websites out there, that concentrated on providing stock images or photos in which you could use on your website. I found a lot of places that you could get free stock pictures, which mostly turned into payed websites to use their images. Also the free image sites didn’t have the images I wanted and some didn’t even have categories. I then stared using payed stock image sites but they always – even after their specials, had a premium price attached.
My solution to expensive stock photos
I only started to learn how to develope my own websites because developers were charging one to two thousand dollars per website and I wanted to keep my costs down. Now that I was purchasing payed photos or stock images my website development costs were starting to increase once more. Why didn’t someone have a site that had one particular price for all there images and gave you rewards for the more images you used? Well to cut a long story short, I purchased a heap more of website development products which cane with photo stock images. I then purchased the rights to sell them because I wanted to build a site with cheap stock photos. Once again, I felt most stock photo sites were expensive and because I couldn’t find a quality cheap stock photo site – I created my own.

The birth of cheap Stock Photos
Building another website that specifically had a purpose of delivering cheap stock photos, did take me a few months to create from scratch. I may be slower than other developers but one thing I can tell you is – I never give up on a idea. My idea was to create a site that delivered cheap stock photos and that’s what I’m going to do! I originally had the pricing system set out so you could download x5 photo’s for $1 but I havent sorted out the payment system with Paypal. Once I learn how to intergrate everything successfully, I plan to stay true to my word and deliver 100% cheap stock photos.
The futre of Cheap Stock Photos
I believe all my business ideas, have come from a problem I personally had in the past. Some people just moan and complain about how it is, while others use the opportunity to create their own solution. This is the website I wanted to find and use in the past, especially when it came to cheap stock photos. Even though its the end of May 2016 and I only have ten photos uploaded in my collection.
